I see a lot of members posting with images attached. From what I understand this is performed by use of a URL address. To those posting pics can you share how you set this up? If you knew then what you know now is there something different or better that you wished you've done. To avoid burdening others with posting my images I would like to post my own and also help others in the future.

P.S. Is it heresy to request info for single shots, pumps, & autoloading shotguns on the forums. If it is I rightfully understand this despicable, barbaric, and uncouth behavior. But let's say my "friend" wanted to waller in the gutter about such topics, without saying "HELL" where would you send him.

I use : https://imgur.com/

It is free and easy to use. Sign up, upload your images by clicking on "add images", once you uploaded your picture click on the image you want to appear in your bbs post, select "large thumb nail" at the bottom of the screen, select "BBcode", now paste the address in your post.

Any issues and just ask.

2). You can create a free account or sign is as a guest
3) Hit the "Upload image button"
4) That's bring up this image:

5) Hit "choose image"
-- this will bring up a drop down menu of the files and photos on your desktop
-- choose the photo you want.
6) hit "upload image" at the bottom of the screen:
7) that will bring up a screen like this:

-- Choose the size of the image (I usually click on the largest size)
-- that'll bring up codes.
-- copy the code in the top box and paste to your message.

Steve I tried imgur but would allow my login after I registered.

Argo 44-I used the link you provided and was at least able to provide a link in my post. So I'll work on posting images there.

If I have to sign up to another site just to view your pics it isn�t happening and unfortunately that is how most of the �free�sites work

You don't have to sign into Jpgbox to view the image. Neither for Imgur.

I use imgbb.com. It's easy to use and once you upload your image it will give you the "full linked code" which you can copy and paste into your post directly without having to use the picture icon above the post.

And kudos to you for wanting to learn. I shake my head when I see guys on this board that can rebuild a 100 year old gun with their eyes closed and then come on asking others to post for them because it's "too hard" for them to figure out. Just laziness.
