I bought a lot of the Aguila 1 3/4" mini shells many years ago. I still have a bit of them. I shot them in damascus guns regularly. They are only 5/8 oz of shot and while I never got a pressure on them, I highly doubt they generated much pressure to get that load going under 1200 fps. They were great fun for using a 12ga on dove.
But the Federal load is listed as 15/16 oz. Might be a different animal. You could send a handful off to that guy up in the Dakotas for a pressure test (can't recall his name, but Sherman Bell used him in the damascus pressure testing.) As an option, Aguila still sells their shorty.
