It has been several long years restoring the Remington Whitmore Hammer lifter.
This Sunday I got to shoot it for the first time, it is a 10 bore but feels more like a 16. I got a set of 10/20 reducers from Little Skeeters and shot my light unique hand loads. The reducers are very fun and easy.
What a blast is was after sooooo long! Throwing on the old Western White Flyer traps the clays were quite helpless!
My bud Rick said that this may have been the first time the smoke pole has been shot in 140 years.
Finished up in the shade of the cottonwoods with a couple of cold Pacifico's.
This is what it is ALL ABOUT for me!

I have been selling some tractors/equipment & cattle so the farm got me a smart phone a couple weeks ago--I got pictures of everything, even made movies by accident, bugs, our house construction, grandsons x 50, etc......

82nd Trooper- Remington 10-D Was beat up before Rick Dunbar worked it over. Chuck Edwards engraved trigger guards to match both restorations- great match to the originals.

I restored two 1908 pre model 10s and both had severe cracking and missing wood coming off the recoil shoulder and into the wrist and that afforded me a great learning opportunity. So I can really appreciate how nice your gun looks.
