max - hard to say from photos if it is a best quality gun. Odds it will be a the VC next week and I'll look at it then. It will need to be both a best OQ gund and in very, very good condition (Current Condition level 2 or nearly so) to be near the asking price.

OOps! I thought it was with Barnett.
BV3-OQ1(best quality SLE)-CC1 (pristine) = $20,000 and BV3-OQ1-CC2 (little use) = $14,000. BV3-OQ2 (second quality SLE)-CC1 = $14,000 and BV3-OQ2-CC2 = $9,800. Remember that Hunt being a BV3 brand value has nothing to do with quality - quality is covered in Original Qaulity (OQ).

Max, I can't think of a state where it is actually illegal, but it is done "low-profile" in most places to avoid potential ugliness. The only difference between box bird shooting and mainlining heroin is that the first shot of heroin is free.
