Back to Vols gun, My thinking is that whoever owned the Francotte name in the 50s and 60s decided to make a few bucks and had a bunch of guns made up by someone in the trade. I have one like his with less engraving and it has no relationship to the prewar guns sold by the company. Jim A. Yep Jim. I was thinking that pre-war Francottes are to the gun in the auction as pre-war Sauers are to the communist era stuff.
