There are few members here who have not been insulted, denigrated, or attacked by The Organ Grinder.He whines endlessly about responses to his behavior as if he is he injured party. No one would have singled him out here if he hadn't assaulted them first.Members should keep this in mind as they decide to participate, especially participate to pay Dave for tolerating The Organ Grinder. There is no justification for his existence here.

Yes, The Organ Grinder and his few supporters are boring. This could be an interesting site if he didn't keep intruding himself on us. He repeats himself, which only underscores his stupidity. If you find him entertaining or supportive or informative or worth your while, perhaps you and he could find an island where you mutual attraction could play itself out without offending any of us left here.

Nor, should he. Keith, has some actual knowledge about double guns, that is valuable to the membership here.
Bill was a teacher, in the era of US public school students consistently testing at a level of knowledge between the students of Romania, and Bangladesh, at the highest cost of teaching in the world.
If bill has added to the knowledge of double guns presented here, sorry, I missed it.
Nobody can say that about Keith.

Ted, He does. No one disputes that. But his behavior more than offsets his contributions. If you condone his attacks, you've put yourself at his level. If that's a place you're comfortable in, settle down and enjoy the ride. You must have at least six buddies who enjoy your company. PS: I'll put my contributions up against his; he's even complimented me for mine.

Some things about this BBS are not going to change. Blocking the posts of some members is the best approach to participation here. In some of our longer threads I notice that most of the posts come up as ignored on my screen. Makes for a quick read sometimes...Geo

Ted, As for your comment about my career as a teacher, The Organ Grinder has already been there. There is no possible way either of you could have a valid opinion about my performance. Anyone who would stoop to a generalization about the era and presume to rate my work accordingly is simply a fool. Maybe you could rally The Organ Grinder's supporters here to confirm your adoration of his prejudice. My behavior here has been defensive, his and yours offensive, in both senses of that word. It's revealing that you feel I have no right to opinion here because I don't own the site. I don't own the country either, but my right to expressing my opinion doesn't hinge on ownership in either situation. You haven't let it be a stop to you.

The image of God is hard to recognize sometimes, having been effaced so completely by heedless animosity. No one here ever attacked The Organ Grinder first. That hasn't stopped him from acting the victim. This is not an equivalence. The OG is a perp. Give him a pass if you side with him, but he is the force pulling us apart. Sadly, it really isn't the OG.; he can't help himself. Dave supports him, and that is where the buck stops.
