It is never easy to lose anyone that is beautiful, wonderful and loving, especially a parent and specifically a mother. Mine has been gone for over eight years now and that void has never fully filled for me. Recently, a women that was involved with my only sibling for many years sent him a photograph of the marker for our parent's grave (neither of us live anywhere nearby). She had gone way out of her way to put flowers on it for Mother's Day, stating that our mother had been like one for her as well. The best mothers clearly affect lots of folks in their lifetimes and are the greatest gift to us all. I feel for your loss.
