I wonder if the "Hobby Gun Dealer" requires a signed statement by his customers (suckers) saying no firearm he sells shall be used to shed innocent bird lives?

Everybody has hobbies they enjoy.
I don't care if Ed is a non hunter.
I just don't want him bambifying a bird raised as a crop.

I wonder if he eats oysters.

Preparing them for the table must really offend him.

I like to describe the way most animals die naturally in the wild when I run into the Peta types. They have no clue. Typically a hunter gives then the best death they will ever have.

I wonder what the grass feels when you walk on it. Or when you mow it!

this is tiring...the simple fact is, i no longer take please in killing...when i was much younger, i did take pleasure in killing, but no more...

and for those of you who still take pleasure in killing, that is your issue to deal with...but, please dont bull shit us by claiming that pen raised bird shooting is practiced for the primary purpose of providing game birds for food...just be honest...killing flying birds with a shotgun, with the companionship of others...is fun...

sort of like going to the coliseum with ones friends to watch the "games" and observing the drama of life and death...and actually being able to participate with a simple thumbs up...or down...

Ed, no one is denying that here. No one suggested we are just small cogs in a food production line.

The birds are raised for sport. But in the process they are raised more humanely than the average domestic chicken and their death is more humane than the average wild bird.

There's that popping sound again.

Ed, where does your damaged imagination think the estate reared birds go?

It always amazes me just how cosmopolitan this DG website is regarding the contributors. Truly amazing !

To actually have Foghorn Leghorn adding posts under a pseudonym !!
Just Amazing..
