A very nice, sleek rifle. But what is going on with the toe? Is that a photography issue or is there a prong there?

It is an addition the owner added as an assist, he was handicapped?? Has a steel buttplate, hopefully it is a simple fix.

On the surface a nice rifle and congrats. Now we await your peeling this onion to see what may be hidden inside. Raises the excitement level in our time of lockdown. Keep us updated please.

I like it, especially the grip and buttstock shape. The angle of the fore end seems a bit extreme to my eye but likely feels good in the hands.
The swept down bolt looks out of place and possibly a later addition.

The barrel looks to be slotted for a rear sight, so it's probably not based on an NRA sporter barreled action. However, I could be built around a National Match rifle barreled action. Did you look for a star gauge star on the muzzle?

Did you look for a star gauge star on the muzzle? They didnt start marking them with the star on the muzzle til later, right? 1921 according to brophy.
