I'd rather be right here in the US of A than any other country on earth during this crisis, if I get sick or not. And I'm grateful, and thankful, that this happened during the tenure of Trump, rather than Obama.

If that's too political for this forum ............ tough.

I think it is amusing to see all of the partisan critics slamming Trump, and remarking how much better the Obama administration would have handled this.

It wasn't all that long ago that we were right here on this very forum, debating the sheer insanity of Obama permitting sick patients with active Ebola infections to come back into this country. We were very lucky that Ebola is not transmitted nearly as easily as Covid19, or we might be up one of the creeks mentioned in the post above... that being Shit Creek.

I have seen in the past where that expression arose, but can't recall now. As I recall though It concerned the Creek Indians having an up-rising & had nothing to do with a stream of water.
