I made notes about some guns I thought I could afford in the Jim Wilkinson auction. Silly me, I could have afforded most of it. I wonder when we will see another auction like this? What would the prices have been if the auction had taken place during the pandemic?

The 77 Sharps was superb. But why the Borchardt went for that money, I don't understand.

The 77 Sharps was superb. But why the Borchardt went for that money, I don't understand. $64 question. I don't see it either but I wasn't buying or bidding. In my mind a bare Mauser action going for $840 is a bit hard to understand. To each their own.
