After speaking with David, I think the part of the story that I enjoy most is that the previous owner hunted with this gun steadily for many, many years. (And I'm not talking preserve hunts or sunshine days in the dove field, but chasing chukars in rugged terrain in Idaho.) David intends to do the same - good for him! I think Lindner would be pleased to know his gun was in the field and doing what it was designed to do 100+ years after it left his shop.

I would hunt with this gun. I will also hunt with my HAL Pigeon Gun, safety or no safety. NB didn't use a safety, I guess I won't either. Murphy

I plan to post a contribution after Saturday's opening of Dove season where I will use my Lindner Dalys in digesting some Polywad # 7 1/2s. I hope to hunt everyday(mornings after afternoon opener) for at least a week.
