I think they amalgamated in 1897, jOe. I've seen W.C. Scott guns that have the same 78 Shaftesbury Avenue, London and Birmingham that is on the rib of this gun with the Scott name instead of Webley & Scott. According to the 1914 catalogue I have they maintained both factories. The guns and rifles were built at the W.C. Scott facilities on Lancaster Street and the pistols and revolvers were built at the Webley factory on Weaman Street, both in Birmingham.
