Got my gun back today after 15 months. Gun was untouched. Still in the original two boxes and packaging. Lost my deposit: but at least I did get the gun back.

thats good you got it back intact,too bad about the deposit and amazing it sat for all that time.Hope everyone else can get theirs back too.

I got one back but I am still waiting on two others. No deposit on these so that is good but the situation with Andy is terrible. He is not to be trusted.

You sent him your gun, so why did you need to give him a deposit?

He required a deposit before he agreed to do the work.

That's when you should've smelled a shunk....the fact that he had your gun should've covered any deposit.

I found out about Andy's Custom Shop on this web-site. He was universally praised as the "best." I had no reason to smell a skunk. I trusted him as I do most other people I deal with. I made a mistake. It wasn't the first and probably will not be the last.

Geeze Homeless,don't beat him up,at least he named who ripped him off so others can learn from his experience.If you discourge this type of posting with "monday morning quarterbacking" we will all be on our own with dealers/gunsmiths/suppliers who do it to others and they will continue their bad business practices!
Wouldn't you have liked to know that dealer who ripped you off did it to someone else before you wasted that shipping money??

I would be far more worried about someone who did NOT want a deposit. I would question their business sense and the likelihood they will still be in business in the future.
