What looked like a very high- condition Daly 10 bore with rare nickel plate finish just sold at auction for $375. I was tempted to bid just because I thought is was cool. I'd have thought people who collect Dalys would have fought over it.

I have a twelve with nickel plated hardware. I am certain it was among those “kits” sourced from Scott and finished in Prussia. Great gun! I especially like it for wild Texas quail—lightweight and both hammers can be brought to full cock with one thumb pull. That ten was a bargain if it was in decent condition.
