I spoke to my stock maker and he assured me the blank I thought was used for my upgrade was replaced by a higher grade blank. As bad as I wanted to see the fingerprint of the stock in the blank, it's just not happening. Sorry keith, you were right, I was wrong. I'll have to just learn to live with it.

So I'll accept your apology for this.
I've made a number of mistakes here as well, and it's never fun to have to admit being wrong. But I always felt better when I apologized. I'm sure you will have no problem living with your decision to post this.
Your apology is very timely. I don't believe that the Preacher would ever handle it this way. Geo is right... that is a very nice piece of wood.

Its very odd that a stocker would use a higher grade blank without first discussing that with the owner. Nevertheless, it was nice of you to apologize to Keith. I guess Keith isnt a punch bowl turd, or an egg nog turd, or a lying Nazi anymore. Really rich of you to apologize to Keith, Bob.....rich!
