My objective is to go to the Southern in April......I've never been to one of these events and have some things to talk over with on-line friends including some authors and writers. Hope to see Stan there. I should be pretty much in country this year.
The second is to find Reilly SN 27854...the 12 bore which I believe is the pair to my 16 bore. I've called Amoskeag three times...they kept promising to send a message to the buyer of Terry Buffum's former gun but I heard no commitment in their voice. I'd settle for a picture of the escutcheon on that gun just to confirm that a 1 & 2 can be different gauges...for different folks.
And finally, maybe the New Year will bring a decline in people opining about politics on an excellent and varied engineering board for gun science that has an amazing abundance of mechanical and physical expertise to call upon.
