Nice guns. I missed out on a Miroku boxlock at a gunshow years ago, looked for all the world like an English Birmingham boxlock, but, better. I though for $400 something must be wrong, but, it was a sound gun, as a friend who didnt miss out later discovered.

Ted, I owned one like that: Marked Miroku Model M. Straight/splinter/DT/extractors, 12ga with case colored receiver. I thought the same thing: Looked like a very basic Brit A&D boxlock. Had the interesting factory chokes of IC/IM. Great pheasant gun. One of those that falls in the category of "wish I hadn't sold it". But I know where it is, and may try to recover it at some point.
