My 15" pull 20ga NID was a little too long to suit me so I had the stock shortened and a pachmyer decel. pad installed to an overall 14.25 pull. Now, nearly everytime I shoot the rt. barrel the safety goes back and I can't fire the left barrel without pushing the safe button forward again.
I figured that maybe I'd shortened it too much so I added a pull-over rubber pad to get the LOP back to what it had been. Still has the problem.
The tension on the safety button seems to be ok. Maybe I'm holding too loosely with my trigger hand and with the soft pad my hand is slipping forward and pulling the safety back upon the recoil of the first barrel.
What do you think; try to get the tension increased on the safety or try a tighter grip?? Any other ideas?...Geo
