I have a 20mm blood red English pad for it. I have almost sorted the scope mounting. In order to take down, the scope must be removable. I do not care for Weaver style stuff and ditched the mount that came with it. The vintage Williams Quick Convertible seemed appropriate. I will try that before I go to modern Leupold QR stuff.
The Williams 600 mount stuck over an inch forward of the joint and would not allow take down. I was able to modify a 722 short action mount. However it will only use two mounting screws so I am going to start there, but I am unsure if thats a permanent solution.
I am going to test fire before I start cutting wood.
