Yes, Glenn, that's what I am saying and it's also why I prefer the company of women to men who generally bore me with predictable macho talk about themselves. Women are more interesting any day.

I wouldn't be a member of a club that a woman would invite me to join, no matter how interesting she is.

Maybe "The mile high" club, Eightbore. I'd give that a whirl. Best, Ted

I did not see that Beans exagerated any more than most of the M21 owners. M21's & L C's are both good guns, but neither are perfect. Some seem simply unable to admit that to themselves, which is why they have to exagerate to others, trying for conformation. Personally I know my Lefevers are not perfect, but I admire their good points & accept their flaws.

I once caught a BIG trout and I always enjoyed Bean's posts He is missed. I agree with Groucho when it comes to invitation only clubs.......... PLEASE ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION. I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER. Groucho Marx (1890 - 1977)

I believe John Mann once got Bean's goat on this site and he stayed away for a long period, but did post a time or two later. Bobby

JM may have been the guy who posted the ficticious "Amish guy with sheep and way, way high grade LC Smith guns" April fools post that had the Beaner (and, others) posting with cash for the non-existant guns.
The few Amish folk I know would not let such a gun on their property, so I was mystified at first and suspicious later, and stayed well clear of any posting.
It was the kind of post that gave a rare glimpse of character (or, lack thereof) in a very public site. It was priceless. I'll not comment further. Best, Ted
