I just reached out to the dealer who stated that he believed the colors were re-done in England at the time of re-proof in '86. Good Eye, Bill...I hadn't noticed the trigger re-blue. The bores measure close to nominal and remain thick at .030, so I wonder why it was lengthened and tarted up in '86. The wood is 13" long with a 1/2" pad added. The gun is available for viewing on Mike Schwandt's site if anyone desires a more detailed pictures.
