I don't have anything else on Ithaca Flues Model frame cracking, but this cache of letters.

Just to conclude, my gun is serial #312177 marked S20

I think 1919?

Has ejectors and although the 26" barrels are Marked 0 on the right flat and 4 on the left the bore gauge has them at Mod and Full.

Other barrel markings are "SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL" on right top and "MADE in USA" top left. there is a G on the barrel flat and "nitro proof" in a semi circle on bottom of the front barrel lug and a S on the rear face of the rear locking lug.

I can't wait to get her cleaned up and on the quail in late winter.

With barrels marked "SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL" it is a Field Grade. From a 1918 or earlier catalog when the Field Grade had the half-pistol grip --

Thanks researcher mine has the grip cap. It's a neat little ejector gun.
