I missed my oppertunity to hold the gun and possibly shoot it. I can not say i held it in my hands, or that i have proof that it does exist. However, i know that there is no reason for the individual to make it up. (the person who owns it didn't even know what it was at the time) The person requested information based on the serial numbers on the gun. (gun was taken to a highly respected and knowledgable gun dealer)
A documentation check was (performed by a highly respected expert) The serial number and the type of gun matched the records once held by A.H. Fox that indicated that it was infact the gun in question.
If this is a lie or scam. Allot of very highly respected folks in the business would stand more to loose than they could ever gain.
I just hope that "the gun in question" gets the chance to shoot another duck.
