For quail and woodcock, I shoot several double guns that have 25-26" barrels. For dove, I currently enjoy using my 29" E&G Higham or Darne R10 (27+") both in 16 ga. The Higham is also a good woodcock gun (f/c) with a Polywad spreader in the f barrel. I don't shoot any particular length better than the other but that's the Indian, not the arrow (or bow). Cold Iron, the stock mod on your Browning is a work of art and I never tire of seeing Karl's Churchill which I mistakenly thought was 25", not 26". Gil
