So here's a New Zealand Police Seargent showing a Military Style Semi-Automatic (MSSA) AR-15 similar to the one used by the Christchurch shooter. MSSA rifles required a special permit, and the shooter removed the legal low capacity magazine and installed illegal 30 round mags. These firearms are now being confiscated in a forced buyback of the registered guns.

And you most certainly did say that guns were not registered in NZ. You said it in the original deleted thread, and you said it again in your post #544258 on 4/22/19:
