I own two guns in that proof configuration, and it took some time to find each of them. I load bismuth shells in the 9000 psi range, and the guns perform wonderfully.

thanks all I did understand the no use of modern 3" shells in the English 3" chambers
I am extremely lucky as the gun was gifted to me so I am going to have a new stock made and it is ever so slightly loose with the fore end removed I will get it tightened
the stock has been repaired and is way to short for me I think if I put some money into it I'll have a nice gun that will outlast me

Greener's Far Killer Duck gun.
I believe "Far Killer" was used by Lewis.

I believe "Far Killer" was used by Lewis. Maybe but a quick Google search turns up several Greener far killers. I did not find a Lewis in my search.
