Geez Billy, do you really think I care whether or not you want me to comment on this? It seems as if Dave has already explained his policy on selling items, and his dislike for people using his site as a vehicle for free advertising.
The distinction between selling a single item and getting a recurring return from advertising goods and services should be self evident too. It ain't rocket science. But your pal who regularly sold very expensive classes to multiple students year after year didn't like the idea that he should pay Dave. You defended that notion.
I posted Dave's words on the subject for you earlier. Now you want your own special interpretation. A quick look at recent past listings in the For Sale section shows several guys who have sold books, rifle scopes, Belding & Mull powder measures, reloading dies and equipment, Double Gun Journals, old gun catalogs, blocks of buffalo horn, etc. I guess you Liberals just think you should get special treatment, and something for nothing. It must be that Socialist Democrat Welfare mentality and the idea that people who work for a living owe you a portion of their labors.
Do you remember when I had a link to NRA political victory fund in my tagline? Your Liberal Left pal King complained that I was advertising for the NRA, even though I wasn't receiving a cent. Later he complained again when I had a little picture or Ronald Reagan toasting "Us Deplorables", and said that was free advertising for the RNC.
Yet strangely, King had no problem with two Liberal Left guys who advertised their gunsmithing services with every post they made. And a few days ago, we had you complaining about my current tag-line, since you regularly endorse and support anti-gun politicians.
Maybe I need to ask Dave to try to explain this sort of hypocrisy to us.
