I will be devoting all my time to the study of Dentistry.
In the future, I'm going to perform my own root canals.
Allowing a D.D.S. to do my dental work no longer gives me a warm or sentimental feeling.

Sorry CBack

Better watch it Bob. Your pal SKB is always looking for violations of the law, and selling that many guns with a publicly stated profit motive... without having a Federal Firearms License puts you in direct competition with legitimate FFL dealers.

But everyone here abouts likes you, so I wouldn't worry about it.

If a man is willing to put his time and money into restoring a gun like this into something better I am all for it. Please keep us posted.

Buzz.....the 19th century London gun making fraternity would absolutely drive you crazy. Because outside of Reilly, Colt and Trantor...after 1850 there were absolutely no gun makers relying totally on their in-house expertise. Even Purdey was sending barrels out to be blacked and engraved.

Thats different , Argo. This is a salt wood Browning Superposed 28 ga being upgraded with new 70s-80s barrels (even though the salt barrels with a different rib configuration are likely sound) and being turned into a Pointer grade with superlight configuration. This isnt a restoration. Its upgrading to a high grade piece. Sorry, but my humble opinion is this isnt a restoration, rather upgrading to something different and rare, but no way original.
