I have not posted any pictures of mine. The pictures that are posted were someone else's.
As the shot barrels are ruined I have not really done anything with it. I acquired it real cheap due to the burst barrel with intentions of tubing it but never got to it & doubt now I ever will.
I have seen that it should not have a proof date prior to 1912 but it is on this one quite plain, 02,07. The rifle bore is marked 172.28-58˝ so that goes along with the pre-1912 date when gauges were still used for rifle bores.
