   The family made seven different single barrel models over the years. From your description, it sounds like you have a "Perfection Top Lever" (which was a new model for the early 1900s and had the new "nitro safe" barrels). Also available from circa 1893ish was the "Perfection Side Snap" which was made until the factory closed. Most examples are in 12 gauge; however, there was also a 16 gauge option. Barrels were available in decarbonized steel for $6,fine london twist for $7, and laminated steel for $8 - add another 50 cents if you wanted an auto ejector!
