There's a difference between being a hunter and a sportsman. For example, the whole No-Tox shot debate sometimes centers upon the steel shot cripples that are lost and die vs. number of lead poisoned birds. The sportsman, however, will use the No-Tox shot without question (OK, maybe a little grumbling), whereas the hunter simply does the math to see which is economically easier for himself. Same difference in this instance....no sportsmen involved, only hunters, and kinda lazy ones at best if you ask me. Yes, at one time this could be called sport, but without fair chase, ya might as well shoot fish in a barrel....and I don't care how big the barrel is either.
