As mentioned in another thread about cigars, we take no offense in enjoying good cigars on our course !! As for Cuban cigars, "I see nothing, I know nothing!" Smoke 'em if you got 'em!!

Sounds good. I like to enjoy a Macanudo occasionally while out shooting.

Guess what, I forgot to add another event that coincides with our Endless Mountains Challenge. The Rod and Gun Club at Pocono Manor is hosting their Fall Side x Side shoot on Friday the 7th!! How about this for some SxS fun, Pocono Manor on Friday, Hausmann's Hidden Hollow on Saturday and Rock Mountain on Sunday!! 3 Clubs, 300 targets, OOHHHH Nellie!!! BTW, breeks not required.

I think your dates also coincide with the Nsca zone 2 tournament at M&M in NJ, Sept 8 & 9. The M&M venue on the 8th includes a registered SxS event. I don't know how many of your casaual shooters are Nsca members but that presents a conflict for those that are, especially with the 2 day & 200 bird setup you have with Hidden Hollows.

I'm a NSCA life member and registered SC competitor but....... 50 registered targets at a side event at M&M versus a 200 bird, paired venue, dedicated SxS shoot poses no "conflict" for me. You need to re-assess your priorities, Dogfox.

You gotta realize some prefer shooting a registered venue & possibility of punches. Letsee... $48.00 for 50 birds with $10. payback. That's $38.00 per 50 with scorers included. No score it yourself stuff either. Well I guess it's what you enjoy doing & how good you canb shoot.

Do doubt the attendance records will tell the tale. I suggest we compare notes on September 10 to see where the doublegun shooters went.

NSCA double gun sub event shooters are not generally what we consider "Double Gun Guys". "Double Gun Guys" are those that would use a double gun in the main event. I miss NSCA, but just couldn't keep up with the entry fees and travel. I remember that M&M really used to outdo themselves with seafood feeds, probably still do. I still want to know what brand of car I could win if I showed up over there.
