Tom--Please do report on the trigger issue. Both Bruce Buck and I, with separate "test" guns, encountered very heavy pulls. (I borrowed the one Phil Bourjaily had, and he also commented on the triggers.) Frankly, other than the triggers, I thought it was a pretty decent gun. Bruce said pretty much the same thing in his Shooting Sportsman review.
I think the issue that still has to be overcome is the fact that the guns are made in Turkey. (What did we used to think of guns made in Japan? Spain?) Most buyers seem satisfied with the inexpensive Turkish doubles from CZ and DeHaan. The question is, how many are going to pay three times as much for a Turkish gun that says S&W?
