Gil, it is a H.A. Lindner - Daly. I don't see any Sauer process marks and anything else that would point toward a Sauer offering.

"....the S,D&G SBT was manufactured from 1912 - 1916 there were very few of the examples and for the 1st 3 year period I would garner a guess that almost all were sourced from H.A. Lindner." http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbt...true#Post284676Would the following happen to be stamped on the standing breech: DRMS(DRGM) 555768, which is on the standing breech of Lindner Daly Sextuple #2458 Cheers, Raimey rse

I'll add more info to the discussion.
I have a Prussia marked, Daly/Lindner "Sextuple" SBT - No.10565 (2914). The engraving is similar to the gun shown on page 42 of the GGCA book. Thus, I assume my gun is a "200."

My Model 165 is about 90 numbers earlier than Gil's. It's had the butt stock added too with splices over time. I'll do a transplant/graft on it through the checkering to save the forward section. The trigger is set up for a lefty as it has the pad twisted that direction. Not a torch and plier job,,looks orig.
Been shooting it at skeet. Just aim a bit low. Report doubles or all long range singles. Fun gun

Well, it wasn't this 4 Bore Schaefer. But I do wonder how much effort Lindner performed on this beast of a tube & how much Schaefer applied, if any? Hause: What's all that chaos in the tube between the FE initials & the forend hanger? Cheers, Raimey rse

You're not giving me much to work with brother. The barrels are 3 Iron Bernard (probably) "rose pattern" II There is a weld line down the middle of the 2nd rosette from the FE lug, probably for the very thick breech section which might be 2 Iron, and one Iron didn't get twisted as it should have. It gets even messier toward the breech. Bottom left is the Bernard lopin Steve Culver would likely know, and he still checks the Forum on occasion.

Lo siento Hause but that's all I have, I believe. And I for one don't know from where I lifted it. Seemed to be some odd chaos & I was wondering if the chaos paired w/ the tube size?
Cheers,
