If the gun is brand new Id shoot it a bit before I had the triggers worked on. Ive had a few guns which the trigger got better with use. You should know what it really is after a thousand or so rounds. If they dont lighten up with use, then you could have them lightened a bit. I think gun makers are setting triggers with a higher pull, to be extra safe against accidental firing. In todays never to be damned enough, sue happy world, if 4-5 is perfect they go for 6-7 as being on the side of caution.
