I agree with my Stormy friend's statements about this gun and his comparison with the RBL. Please consider that I am not in the market for a new offering by anyone other than Purdey.:}
And interest is about as far as that will go.
I could not see the guts of the S&W but do know about the guts of the RBL. Cosmetically, to my eye, the S&W is way ahead of the RBL.
What I really thought was that I would not buy either. There is an almost new, beautiful condition SKB 500 for 1/4th to 1/5th their price that I would take home in a skinny minute.
Now, that is a bird gun of a proven quality. Not a copy and not a question mark.
