I'm not stalking Dave, but he's hard to miss. What gets to me is that most of his (bizarre) claims are based on "personal conversations" with Ithaca and Hunter Arms employees, John Houchins, Col. Brophy, Walt Schiessl; all of whom are gone and can't confirm or deny his assertions.
Tom Archer, Townsend Breeden, Jim Stubbendieck, the late Dick Miller and others know more about Smith guns and Hunter Arms history than "The L.C. Smith Man" has made up.
