As I understand it, Dave does not delete or lock a thread unless someone whines about it. I saw him open the thread, and it was less than a minute before he pulled the plug. I don't think anyone could have read the whole thing in that amount of time. I was sorry to see that he deleted it, because I spent a lot of time answering several comments that were utter bullshit... sorry, no more polite way to put it.

It would be very nice if Dave could tell us who complained and requested lock-down or deletion, when he does it. It would be very revealing about the concerted behind the scenes crap that goes on here, which leads to a lot of this stuff. I know who the co-conspirators are, but everyone should know. I know I am not supposed to speak the truth, and I am expected to just shut my mouth when attacked, but that is never going to happen. As I say, you can learn a lot about shotguns here, but you can learn more about people if you really pay attention.

I was thinking more along the lines of an Art major who posts under two names. Or one of his, um... associates.

Keith it's hard for me to believe that Dave never reads or looks at this board.

I figure he's tired of seeing that kind of crap on here....I know I am.

That's why I come out swinging when the low life's start it.

jOe, I disagree. There have been a number of these partisan attacks which are orchestrated from behind the scenes. There is an unmistakable pattern within them if you pay attention. So long as the attackers think they are scoring points and gaining ground toward their goal of censoring those they dislike, everything is hunky-dory, and the thread may go on for many days. But as soon as enough valid points are made to reveal what is really going on, and to effectively refute the bullshit, they immediately whine and cry to Dave and demand that he pull the plug.

Then after a couple weeks when everyone forgets much of what has been deleted... they launch a new attack. It is as predictable as the sun rising in the east. Just like when a shotgun barrel blows up, there is always a reason, whether it is immediately apparent or not. The real causes here have chosen to remain hidden, like a weak little inclusion within the folds of a Damascus barrel.

If Bluegrass has you down then maybe Tyler will help you get that Appalachian feeling in your soul.

Good lord!! That was perhaps the most dreadful noise I have heard lately masquerading as music!! I think Tyler would be better off just doing instrumentals. But of course, I am well aware of what they say about opinions and their comparison to body parts!!! This just happens to be mine SKB. Now Bluegrass, there's a different thing indeed. I "kinda" enjoy it, but really just like the instruments, mandolins in particular, that are always present in Bluegrass.
