Some think there was a sixth sense that we lost over time....I'm betting there were more.

The book of Genesis is the perfect story for the trajectory of our history on the planet. We had every thing we needed, and all of it was renewable. Our accumulated knowledge gives us great power but very little wisdom. We're banishing ourselves. Hopefully, we can undo some of our big mistakes or at least lessen their effects.

But that isnt what Im seeing, Bill.

I see eagles, and I see hawks. Coyotes, deer, and turkeys are common now, I saw few or none when I was a kid. The city has put aside land called open spaces, and manages them for use by residents. DDT is gone, and entire classes of industrial chemicals are no longer produced, much less used. This is an area 15 minutes from either downtown of two major American cities, Bill. Im seeing record low temperatures and being told the planet will overheat and melt in a decade, unless I give up more of my income, and buy an electric truck of some sort. It you follow the stream from start to finish, you discover said electric vehicle pollutes more than an internal combustion vehicle, it just moves where the pollution happens.
We had a post that was relating one mans feelings of his time spent outdoors, and another man, if I can call you that, interjects a bunch of political nonsense into it. You have frequently complained about others that do so, and I would encourage you to run around shouting the sky is falling somewhere else, as you viewpoint is unrelated to the discussion at hand, regardless of what you believe. This was a post that transcended political crap, until you showed up.
You are a leftist a$$hole, Bill. Beat it.

Best,
Ted

Some of the concerns about enjoying the outdoors, and the fruits thereof are however real, esp. for our children & grandchildren, who we hope can experience the same joy and peace that we have - Mercury, PCBs, dioxins and furans in the waters of Louisiana

But I think we can see through the agendas of the progressives

Ted,I intend no political purpose here. My only point is that we're losing what we love by abusive consumption. If you see no evidence of that problem, then it's even more severe than I thought. If I had used the word conservationist instead of environmentalist, would it have made any difference? I tend to think of them as interchangeable and forget that others don't. I've never seen a bacterium. but I believe there are such things and that some of them are harmful. I have, however, lived long enough to see disturbing signs of climate change. If conservation is political nonsense, I'm still all for it. Have a nice day.

Hey Bill, I'm glad you didn't ban yourself.

Think of all the new green stuff we could be kidding ourselves with if we don't create the abusive consumption of victimless drugs and file them the under righteous behavioral health bottomless pit of our health care, eh?

Only one problem, progressive socialism will become seasonal out in Montana. You wouldn't be able to convince the kalifornans to peddle their bicycles over the divide when it gets a little chilly out, huh? I will talk my family into recycling toilet paper like they do in benesuela, to conserve trees. Can I count on you to start a recycling campaign for the dirty needles that grace the easy access parking spots of your neato parks?

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you are entitled to, in a non political sense, okay?

Craig, as usual I have no idea what you're saying except that you disagree with me, which is fine. I don't claim the only access to the truth. Recycle your toilet paper if it salves your conscience. That's not where I stand. You really need to consider that someone of a different political persuasion from yourself is not automatically a cartoon version of a ditsy PC airhead.

Billy, I thought you told us all that you could no longer tolerate this place as long as jOe and I are still here. So tell us Billy, was your recent whining thread based upon yet another lie???

Billy is back with more of his ridiculous assertions and Leftist Democrat propaganda. He reserved his shrill Leftist President Trump bashing for a different thread. But jOe and I are the big problems here! Keep repeating lies, and they will eventually become the truth. Here's a really good article on the subject of Climate Change by Dr, David Raal with references to other climate change articles debunking global warming.

Bill, thanks again for not banning yourself.

The truth is, no matter how reasonable and condescending you might want to appear, your vote can not be unhooked from any part of the left wing agenda. If not automatically, there must be some ditsy PC airheads where you stand, eh? The ole look the other way and double standard is alive and well.

Bill, as usual, I have an idea of where you stand. True, part of it is plain ole disagreement, but most of it has to do with not being truthful about the consequences and baggage of where you stand. Hey, I've read some fowl things from you regarding racism and misogyny directed opposite from where you stand. What's better, pictures of mock racism, admissions of mock racism, or corroborated forced oral rape?
