Its been about 15 years since I sent or got a shot gun in the mail.
I have spent a good while this morning, googling various versions of the above title, with no great luck. Everything seemed to be about handguns or ak47s.
I remember when buying a gun from outside NH, I had to give the sending seller a copy of my receiving NH dealers license.
I'm in NH, if I find an out of state buyer for my shotgun,
1) MUST I go through a licensed dealer on my end (as the seller)?
Or
2)can I just ship it to his Licensed dealer ?, would I need a copy of the buyers receiving dealers license ?
I remember shipping guns to Abe Chaber through UPS without any paperwork ( I think)
but that was for evaluation or work, not sale.
Boy, the old memory ain't what it used to be , thanks for any clarification on this.
