This is an off the rack 16 ga. L.C. Smith 0 grade circa 1910. One of the previous owners put his name in the lower left corner of the stock, who am I to take it off.

G&S Holloway. No comparison with the beauties posted above, but the best I got to offer...Geo   George, The wood on your gun looks like the French walnut they had 100 years ago (before the Germans took over in France destroying the old trees). That stock is really fabulous imho.

First photo is a 1910 C grade Fox with a skeleton butt plate. Second photo is a 1919 J grade Fox SBT.
