Oh, I agree the trend has not stopped. it is not unlike the cartridges for shotguns getting longer and longer (though maybe that has stopped). But the old mantra is slow and heavy gets it done every time. Those of us that shoot game or long distance with 19th century rifles have to keep reminding the more fashionable that it still works as well as ever.
