7/8 in a 12 is quite useful when you want to do something stupid like shoot a few lines of skeet with a light game gun.

I've been loading 3/4 for a very light Rizzini 20 gauge double with great results.

It's all fun.

I do wonder though if anyone has paid real money to enter The Grand American Handicap and had the confidence to shoot 7/8th of an ounce.
