Our bullet suppliers, Eley informed us this month that lead was up 85% and that they were adding 10% to their prices to cover it. Gamebore, Hull and Eley Hawk have followed suit with shotgun ammo.

Still, I maintain that the cost of ammo is the cheapest thing in the sport of shotgun shooting. Most people spend more on clothing, fuel, accommodation, vet bills and presents to keep the wife happy.
