My barrels get cleaned with hoppes no.9, then lightly oiled with either Ballistol or Clenzoil inside and out. I used to use Birchwood Casey Sheath, but it was discontinued and replaced with Barricade which I didn't care for. I've settled on Ballistol or Clenzoil because it's safe for wood.
I carry the pretreated packets in my gun cases for the necessary wipe down if needed as previous posters have suggested.
