Since my first attempt at the EvoShield in Cordoba I haven't used anything in Argentina to
attenuate recoil, other than the standard leather lace-on pad on my 687 SPII Sporting, which is there only to increase LOP. Never have had a bruise or hurting shoulder. I agree that the more you normally shoot the less you're going to notice the recoil from 1200-1500 rounds a day. How you mount the gun and how well it fits you is more important than all the rest of the recoil attenuating devices, IMO, with exception for shoulder injuries of course.
