I am hoping someone has seen this picture online and can point me in the right direction....I came across a picture of an L.C. Smith stock that had the cracks and chips behind the side locks. The gentleman planed down or sanded about an 1/8" of the wood around the sidelock out to the point. He then took a piece of wood that was close in grain and glued it to the stock. He then had to inlet the sidelocks and blend the patch to a point but it was nearly undetectable. I have looked for a week now but can not find that image. If anyone has seen this and can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
