Been there and done it in the tandem seat 1946 J-3 Cub I had on our ranch. Not for the faint of heart! Biggest fear I had was my shooter getting carried away and putting a hole in the struts or tire. Gave it up when one day as pilot I got carried away with chasing the coyote and forgot everything else. At what had to be the very last split second I glanced forward and what seemed to be only yards away was a canyon wall I was headed straight for. How I cleared it and survived I have no idea but am pretty sure the Lord had a lot to do with it. Had a lot of cleaning to do inside the cabin when back at the ranch house and never shot out of the plane again. Life is short!
