Well, I have kept out of this discussion until now but just had to comment. Absolutely nothing wrong with watching "Sewing with Nancy". Three major hobbies of mine have been, & not necessarily in any given order, 2-Cyl John Deeres, Double Barrel Shotguns & Antique "People Powered" Sewing Machines. People-powered includes treadles & hand cranks, any nonelectrics.
I picked up some useful tips from Sewing with Nancy.
Only shotguns I have with recoil pads came to me with one installed & were purchased "In Spite OF" & not "Because Of" the pad. Matter of fact on occasion I shoot an 1884 model Trapdoor Springfield in .45-70 with a steel buttplate.
I don't much care what you & Vol423 say to one another (Y'all can have a shootout at High Noon if you like) but that wasn't a valid point.
